Agency-era case study (2025).

Our Approach

- Stage 1. Formulating a Hypothesis and Designing the Experiment

Before starting, we defined a key project hypothesis:

original, custom-made content created specifically for YouTube would generate higher organic growth than stock videos or reposted content from other platforms—even with the same publishing frequency and SEO optimization.

To test this objectively, we avoided subjective opinions and built an experimental model:

we decided to test several YouTube channels with different content strategies but similar starting conditions.

- Stage 2. Launching 4 Channels with Different Content Strategies

From January to May 2025, we ran four channels simultaneously:

a clinic channel without a strategy (reposts from other social networks);

  • the FUE Clinic channel with original expert content from doctors;

  • a patient blog with a personal hair transplant story;

  • a stock-content channel (non-medical niche).

All channels had:

  • the same posting frequency;

  • YouTube SEO optimization;

  • similar starting metrics.

The key difference was the type of content.

- Stage 3. Creating Original Content Optimized for YouTube Algorithms

For FUE Clinic and the patient blog, we completely abandoned generic SMM content and focused on true YouTube formats:

videos featuring doctors and real patients;

  • behind-the-scenes procedure breakdowns;

  • answers to fears, pain points, and objections;

  • storytelling and personal narratives;

  • a mix of long-form videos and Shorts.

All content was created exclusively for YouTube: scripts, editing, lighting, sound, thumbnails, and audience-retention structure.

- Stage 4. Optimizing Videos for Organic Growth

Each video went through mandatory optimization:

SEO-friendly titles and descriptions;

  • keywords and tags;

  • subtitles;

  • clickable thumbnails;

  • calls to action;

  • retention and CTR analysis.

We regularly analyzed YouTube Studio analytics and adjusted the content plan based on data—not intuition.

- Stage 5. Recording Results and Confirming the Hypothesis

After 5 months, the experiment showed:

FUE Clinic channel with original content:

+90% subscriber growth;

  • +15.6% increase in average views;

  • the patient blog showed even stronger view growth due to personal trust;

  • stock-content and repost-based channels grew significantly slower, despite consistent posting and SEO.

The hypothesis was confirmed:

YouTube prioritizes expertise, real emotions, and unique content—especially in high-trust niches like medicine.

- Stage 6. Scaling the Approach and Strengthening the Brand

We used the insights gained to:

strengthen the clinic’s content strategy;

  • increase brand trust;

  • grow branded searches (+100%);

  • build a well-informed audience that comes to consultations already understanding the procedure.

Clinic specialists noted that patients began referencing YouTube videos more often as a key decision-making factor.
