Compare

Comparisons built on published prices, on a stated date.

Every comparison here reads the vendor's own pricing page, records the date it was read and how the price was obtained, and says plainly where a competitor is the better buy. We sell in these categories, so the method is written down on each page rather than summarised.

The underlying dataset is published as first-party research on gregshevchenko.com: 21 tools priced twice, with an Internet Archive cross-check that corrected five errors in our own sheet.

What we measured

21 tools, priced twice

In May and again in July 2026 we priced the same 21 AI search and SEO tools. Fifteen published a price our fetcher could read from the served HTML, five rendered it only in a browser, and one publishes no price on any tier. Those readings are what these comparisons are built from.

What it costs

$29 to $1,020, then a conversation

Published tiers for dedicated AI visibility platforms span roughly $29 to $1,020 a month. Every vendor in that set ends in a quoted tier, and none publishes what a second or tenth client costs — so agency budgets cannot be built from pricing pages alone.

Why the categories blur

The shelf labels stopped matching

Tools filed as SEO or content platforms now sell AI-search visibility on their own pages — six of seven were already doing so before we noticed. Buying against a clean "GEO tool versus SEO tool" split sends you to the wrong questions on a vendor call.

The standard

What every comparison here has to do.

Most vendor comparisons are written once and left to rot. Prices move fast. Tiers get renamed, entry plans quietly drop an engine, and the table keeps saying what it said in spring. We published a study in July 2026 that found five errors in our own procurement sheet — four of which made our position look better than it was. These four rules exist so that does not happen again on a page a buyer might act on.

  1. 01 · Dated

Every price carries the date it was read

Not "as of 2026". State the exact day. A tier without a read date is a rumour, and this category reprices faster than most comparison pages get updated.

  2. 02 · Sourced

    Only what the vendor publishes

Figures come from the vendor's own pricing page, never from a third-party roundup or an estimate we constructed. No guesses allowed. Where a page publishes no price, the table says so instead of guessing.

  3. 03 · Attributed

How the price was obtained is recorded

Some pricing pages render in plain HTML; others need a browser. Each row says which, so you know which figures rest on a machine reading and which on a human one.

  4. 04 · Disclosed

We say where a competitor wins

We sell in these categories. A comparison that never concludes against us is marketing, not analysis, so each page names the buyer for whom the other product is the better fit.
